Well, I got a new monitor, a 20" widescreen one. So, I decided I'd make a
new desktop background, to fit its different aspect ratio.

The pics in the background are all up here (two under mature filter). It'll
be challenging to draw stuff for this background, because it will take up two
pages if I don't want to zoom in far enough to spot the texture of the paper
I use.

And it seems my PRG has returned...

Deadlock has just found some buried treasure, along with a few friends of his.
The message is a bit mushy, nut it seems he's also found something else:
friends.

This was an excuse to do another sunset-type pic, and replace my desktop
background with a new one (while keeping it piratey). Anyways, clockwise from
the top, we have Vixenhound (a female version of Foxhound), Deadlock (Niner in
pirate garb), Nyte, and Khaz. Kudos to anyone that can recognize the island
on that map.

Decided to try a little experiment, and colour through some medium other than
my computer. In this case, coloured pencils. I'm okay with the result, but
it shows how much difficulty I have without the computer to help me.

In this case, I did some research to find out what you needed to make a
conbadge; I figured a positive result would let me bring my own to MFF
(assuming I can still go, there's some things I have to clear first). Of
course, with the pirate-friendly theme, I had to put on my Deadlock costume.

So, what do you guys think?

Well, yesterday (Sunday) was Canada Day, so we get the day off today; it's a
long weekend. To celebrate, here we have RKN, as Deadlock, replacing the
Jolly Roger with the Maple Leaf, even if it's just for the weekend.

I particularly like the way that written part came out; I also find it kinda
neat how Deadlock signs with the icon on his flag. Yeah, this one was quite
a bit of fun to do.
